Located on the 41st field of their family’s hop farm in Yakima, WA, Bale Breaker Brewing Company was started by the youngest generation of a family that’s been growing hops since 1932. Having worked with the Bale Breaker team since the beginning, Blindtiger continues to expand on their brand identity rooted in the family’s rich history of hop farming. The natural beauty of the farm serves as the visual basis of the brand and packaging and new graphics add new means of communication and marketing support.
Bale Breaker has gained national attention and established themselves as an industry leader. Our relationship with Bale Breaker continues to strengthen as we expand their beer offerings and grow their field marketing program with events and new market launches.
Drawing From Their History
A packaging focus has been to have each beer’s namesake in focus. For a brewery uniquely located in the middle of their family hop farm, the farming equipment is a big part of their story. These custom illustrations helped us pay homage to Bale Breaker’s history and location.
Keeping it fresh
No brewery can sit still. As they grow and the market changes, adjustments are necessary. Working with Bale Breaker since before they even had a name, we’ve helped with a variety of tweaks over the years. The most recent packaging updates keep the gold colors and illustrations that are core to the brand, while establishing a bolder and fresher look on grocery shelves.
