When Kim and Jason Harper set out to launch their brewery, they knew that they wanted to do something different. Not just another hyper masculine-feeling space with dark colors, metal and brick. Jason, one of only three Advanced Cicerones in the state, would certainly be focused on creating an incredible product. But they knew that it wasn’t just about the beer. They wanted to create a space for Stemma Brewing that would feel comfortable to all, including kids, dogs — and the working brewery cats, of course.
We worked alongside the team to create a brand that would complement the welcoming environment that they were creating. The brand is warm and modern with custom lettering that adds a familiar vintage feel. The bright brand colors have been carefully applied throughout the taproom. And the mascot, inspired by Cascade (the brewery cat, not the hop variety) gives the brand the opportunity to be more playful at times.
Growing Together
Despite their young age, things are moving quickly for Stemma. And as they grow, so does our relationship. These debut 16oz cans build upon the brand system we’ve established and set the tone for future Stemma releases and beer series.
