We have been collaborating with Figueroa Mountain Brewing since Jim and Jaime Dietenhofer started conceiving of the Buellton-based brewery. Over the years we’ve evolved their branding as the brewery expanded and the beer scene exploded. This updated brand marks a new chapter in Figueroa Mountain’s history, while staying true to their past.
“It was important for us to show our Fig Fam that although our look has been updated, our values haven’t changed,” says Jaime Dietenhofer, President of Figueroa Mountain Brewery, “we’re still evolving, still pushing forward, and still independent.”
PAINTING A PICTURE
Beer-specific artwork has always been at the core of the Figueroa Mountain brand. Their initial packaged beers were wrapped in watercolors painted by Lauren Eagan, mother of Blindtiger founder Oceania. Relaunched cans continue the art-focused approach with illustrations inspired by California’s Central Coast. Scenes include the California poppies that have become emblematic of the state, and the landmarks of Point Conception and Lizard’s Mouth that have helped local hikers build up a thirst for so many years.
The new packaging rollout also welcomes a new member to the Fig Fam, Hiker’s High. This bright and tropical IPA is as hazy as those foggy mornings at the top of your favorite peak. All four releases are available in 6-packs across the state and the four Fig taprooms
