Approaching their tenth anniversary, Cheboygan Brewing Co. was sold. The new ownership wanted to reposition the brand for production and distribution growth. We worked through an audit with the team to further analyze the brand they were inheriting. This led into the relaunch of a more polished brand that has the charm of a legacy brand and the systems in place to continue to grow. This work immediately paid off with a 50% sales increase and distribution out of state for the first time.
We refreshed the Cheboygan Brewing brand utilizing custom type, illustration and crisp vintage personality. We also established a larger logo system, giving the brewery a range of assets to apply to their taproom, event kit, merchandise, etc.
